Corrections
Being verifiably correct is the whole point of this site. If a number here is wrong, we want to know - and fixing it is a process, not a promise.
What to report
- A wrong spec - a torque figure, a valve clearance, a capacity that does not match your manual.
- A wrong decode - a stamp that reads differently than our rules say.
- A bad fitment claim - a repower or interchange note that did not hold up on real equipment.
What to include
The page address, the field or section in question, what the page says, and what it should say. If you have a source - a manual page, a spec sheet - name it. For engine questions, the stamped model, type, and code from your engine helps us pin the exact variant.
What happens next
Every report becomes a tracked item. The disputed field is re-verified against two sources, the manufacturer value winning any conflict. A confirmed error is fixed and redeployed the same day, and the page's "last verified" date is updated so the fix is visible. If the page was right, we reply with the sources it stands on.
